Here you can listen to an excerpt of what was produced during 5 days in the workshop »radio ex change – Radio as an artistic-experimental medium« with Wojciech Kucharczyk (PL)
As intended by Wojciech, the topic was developed together with the workshop participants during the days over discussions and shifted from dealing with the current situation in Hungary to questioning ‘language’ as the ‘ex change’ medium…
The results – compiled in a 20 minute track – was transmitted live on air, as well the official opening of the soundexchange day was transmitted and amplified via radios only …

The last station of the soundexchange project before the final festival in Chemnitz/Germany in November just took place in Budapest. You can find an image gallery here >>>

SOUND EXCHANGE DAY BUDAPEST (13.October 2012) is the seventh station of the project, which is organized by DOCK e.V. Berlin and the Goethe-Institut in close collaboration with the Festival UH Fest at the Akvárium Klub. It features selected outstanding representatives of experimental music culture in Hungary, Latvia and Germany.

SOUND EXCHANGE DAY PRAGUE is the sixth station of the project and is organized by DOCK e.V. Berlin and the Goethe-Institut in close collaboration with the Festival Babel Prague at Archa Theatre. It features selected outstanding experimental music representatives from the Czech Republic and the former GDR.

Produced in close collaboration with the STALKER Festival, SOUND EXCHANGE DAY TALLINN is the project’s fifth station and is being held at Kultuurikatel. It features selected outstanding experimental music representatives from Lithuania and Estonia.
